The Sansuyu is a year-round tree and its fruit is used in the making of Oriental Medicine. The yellow flowers blossom earlier than Forsythia and Azalea in the spring, and in autumn, the red fruit seems to cover the whole village, and is an amazing sight to see.
In Icheon, Sansuyu grow on farms and in orchards at Songmal-ri, and Dorip-ri in Baeksa-myeon.
In early spring, the bright yellow blossoms are awe-inspiring.
